Malaysian Airsoft Club (MAC)’s Objective and Background
Airsoft has been around since 1970’s. It is classified as Hobby/Sports by international standards.
The history of airsoft literature can be found below:

It reached our shores mostly from students finishing studies from Japan.
When airsoft has been internationally accepted, it has been growing rapidly and the popularity soars.
MAC was formed in 2005 but the Malaysian airsoft forum was dated even before that.
The main objective was to educate people on responsibility, etiquette and safety pertaining airsoft handling and playing.
We promote healthy discussions among members while engraving the sense of responsibility and guide the members to ensure that their equipment won’t pose any harm to other people.
Airsoft is still considered as non-lethal toys and cannot in any way be modified to feed live rounds. Although it resembles to a “real steel” on the exterior, it is still just a TOY.
We look at playing airsoft as like an extended version of playing “police and thief” when we were young.
Our stand towards people who abused airsoft for illegal activities, “May you be shot by the police”. Those people deserved it.
I have to re-iterate, we are playing airsoft responsibly and discreet. We DO NOT play/display airsoft in public places and anywhere that may cause panic and confusion.
We only enjoy airsoft in private property where it’ll be out from harms way.
Safety is always first.
